New build of 14 social housing apartments.

The works included the demolition of existing three-storey buildings and construction of 14 two-bedroom flats in traditional load-bearing masonry over in-situ foundations, with concrete floors and pitched/slated roof. Works included all construction, fitting-out, new services, drainage, access, works to boundary and party walls, adjacent public footpaths, all landscape preparation, external works and planting.

Highlights: Works were required to achieve Eco-homes Level 1. This was a very tight site next to a busy junction, making access difficult and there were no storage areas on-site. Adjoining party and boundary walls were carefully managed.
