Construction of a single storey library, information centre and children’s centre with car park and associated external works. The new centre replaces once derelict buildings which were an eyesore in the local community.

Highlights

Residents also took part in the Circle Project, a creative project run by the centre and local arts agency. Families worked with artists to develop their ideas on how they would like their new centre to look and circles proved a popular choice. Their ideas influenced the inside and outside design features of the building, which visitors can see for themselves when they call into the centre.
