Strategic Team Group, one of the UK's fastest growing suppliers of building and property solutions, has announced record profit and turnover for its financial year ending March 2005.

After another successful year of trading, STG reported a turnover of £12.04m and an operating profit before tax of £1.06m; representing a 45% increase in turnover and a 57% increase in operating profit. In addition to this the company increased its workforce from 63 to 93 and was able to deliver 10% of its profit before tax to its team members paid quarterly throughout the financial year.

With a large number of significant contract wins throughout the year, STG has gone from strength to strength. Key projects include working alongside Bradford Trident in a three year partnership agreement and implementing a successful programme of social housing refurbishments; carrying out works on behalf of Brunel Housing and English Churches Housing on projects valued at over £600k each; delivering fit out services for Learning Skills Council offices across the county and completing DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliance work for both UCI cinemas and Shell UK Oil.

Throughout the financial year 2005/2006 STG aims to continue its success by achieving BS EN ISO 9001:2000, employing a broader team base to support increased business growth, creating an improved work life balance for team members and raising £20k for its corporate charity - the Child Brain Injury Trust. As a result of this activity, STG estimates a turnover of £15m and an Operating profit before tax of £1.4m.
