HR Chief Joins Strategic Team Group
Yorkshire building contractor, Strategic Team Group, has appointed Farmida Ishaq as human resources (HR) manager ahead of what promises to be a busy year for the company as it prepares to celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2010.

With more than seven years of HR experience, a post graduate diploma in HR Management and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and the Labour Relations Society, Farmida Ishaq, joins the company from commercial print and mailing business, St Ives Direct, where she held the divisional HR officer post and was responsible for fives sites across the UK, employing around 800 people.
Farmida will be responsible for the design and delivery of cutting-edge employment practices and workforce strategies. The new role will see her interpreting business needs and developing focused and pragmatic HR solutions, which are aligned to the corporate objectives. In addition, Farmida will develop the company’s diversity charter in line with the Equality Bill.
Strategic Team Group’s business development director, Charles Tweed commented on Farmida’s appointment:
