Belgium to Berlin Cycle Challenge, 15-17 May 2009

Please help us to raise money for two fantastic charities - The Bone Cancer Research Trust, who are organising the event, and The Prince of Wales Hospice, our chosen corporate charity – the money we raise will be split equally between the two charities.

The Challenge

We are entering four teams of four riders from Strategic Team Group who will cycle 540 miles in relay from Ghent to Berlin in just three days! From Ghent, the cyclists will travel out of Belgium, through Holland and into Germany through National Parks and rolling hills to Berlin, the final destination.

The event will be a great physical challenge. It will be an exhilarating and exhausting adventure. Stamina, map reading abilities and leadership will be tested to the full. The journey will include some steep climbs and cyclists will have to average a minimum of 15mph..
