Castleford based building contractor, Strategic Team Group announces the promotion of Andy Coates to construction director. With more than 20 years of experience touching on all aspects of construction management, Andy, formerly construction manager with the company, will assume his post immediately.

An accomplished construction manager and former joiner, 36 year old Andy has been a key figure over the last four years in the development of some of the most noteworthy construction and redevelopment projects undertaken by Strategic Team Group.

The new position will see Andy manage a team of contract managers spread across a broad geographical area, as the company continues to expand its new build services throughout the north of England and Scotland, working with registered social landlords and local authorities. Andy will be focused on guiding the teams, ensuring they meet customer's expectation and deliver projects safely on time and to budget.

Commenting on the promotion, Strategic Team Group's business development director, Charles Tweed said:
