Construction firm, Strategic Team Group, which specialises in repair and maintenance, has been appointed by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group to work on the organisation's Cyclical Asset Investment CAI programme framework.

The CAI programme, which focuses on the repair and / or replacement of key building services and property assets, will see Strategic Team Group carry out asset replacement works across the banking and financial services company's full portfolio in the north of England and Scotland, including retail, corporate and investment operations.

The basis of the annual works programme will be developed by conducting detailed facilities audits and condition assessments at each site, followed by planned restoration work to extend the facility's life. Also included within the overall programmes is the Emergency Investment Programme which will focus on more immediate unplanned works.

Commenting on the appointment, Strategic Team Group's business development director, Charles Tweed said:
