The contracts were awarded to Strategic Team Group following the completion of the highly acclaimed Grade II Chester station. Additional works secured with Arriva Trains Wales include the entire refurbishment of Cardiff station's ticket office.

Commenting on the company's successes, Matt Tyler, Strategic Team Group regional business manager, said:

"These contracts mark a significant milestone in the development of the business in Wales and are a huge achievement. We have developed a core understanding of how the rail industry operates and this is reflected in not only how we approach and manage a project, but also the quality of the final delivery.

"We are particularly proud to be playing such an important part in improving rail travel for passengers in the region."
