It is our ethos to look for ways to continually improve our performance in all our activities. We are happy to embrace new ways of working to deliver better outcomes for clients, our team and the community.

In our maintenance operation, for instance, we have pioneered an ‘Open Book’ low-administration contract, which has proved to be both beneficial and cost-effective to all parties.

We have reduced reactive maintenance calls by 80% for a leisure client, resulting in less administration time and expenditure. This was achieved by proactive planned maintenance visits from dedicated crews who were able to gain historical knowledge of the sites and to work much closer with the client.

In our construction operation we are increasingly pursuing sustainable and modern methods of construction. By encouraging clients to use eco-friendly ‘Celcon Aircrete’ blocks, we can improve ‘EcoHomes’ ratings. The blocks are both easy to cut and lightweight saving time on site. Made with pulverised fuel ash, a by-product of another industry, the blocks are recyclable as aggregates.
