Community

We engage with young people through schools, colleges and youth organisations, create working partnerships with local suppliers, provide free improvement work and look to provide work experience and employment opportunities, especially in areas of high unemployment. We promote healthy lifestyles, social inclusion and diversity. Our team are encouraged to donate 'labour days' to assist in the development and implementation of local community projects.

In the schools and communities we work in, we interact with young people by talks and site visits, explaining about our work, promoting the modern construction industry as an exciting and dynamic environment to work in and importantly, highlighting the importance of health and safety. We often organise health and safety and healthy-living poster competitions for prizes.

All our construction sites are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme as part of our commitment to achieve the highest possible standards of considerate practice. Our own Strategic Team Group Service Plus initiative is designed to promote the highest standards of performance in everything we do and to provide the best experience for customers and neighbours.
