Jason Green and our Mobilisation Team managed the design coordination and procurement of the scheme. This team includes personnel from Technical, Planning, Design, Estimating, Procurement and HSQE Departments. All skilled/qualified in managing similar works. We collaborated with the client and Abbey Grange Academy to ensure all parties were 100% satisfied that we had a comprehensive understanding of the scheme. We engaged with the students to explain what works would be happening and held a training session to teach them about the dangers of a live construction site.
Our design teams, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators made recommendations to bring efficiencies to the contract including:
A Compensation Event Tracker was used to monitor the ‘actual -v- potential’ savings. This tracks the effect of changes to provide STG and the client with ‘real-time’ visibility of the final account figure.
