Apprenticeships & Undergraduate Roles


Strategic Team Group are committed to investing in apprenticeship programmes, ensuring we have a fully-trained new generation of colleagues ready to take internal vacancies as we expand the business, or colleagues move on.

Our apprenticeship programmes are an excellent pathway for people with a real desire and passion to work within the built environment. We offer apprenticeships at levels 2,3,4,5 and 6 which allows people to study up to degree level whilst gaining valuable work experience. 

Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships are typically offered in roles such as Carpentry and Joinery, Business Administration & Customer Service. Register your interest in a level 2 or 3 apprenticeship here

Undergraduate Roles

Strategic Team Group offers undergraduates who are studying a construction related qualification the opportunity to gain relevant on the job experience during their year in industry.

This structured programme is the first step in understanding more about the industry and allows students the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in their degree so far.  Our placement year programme gives undergraduates the opportunity to gain on the job experience, technical and behavioural development.

We are also keen to hear from undergraduates who are interested in a summer internship to gain some valuable experience.

Recruitment & Selection

We also endeavour to offer apprenticeships, trainee placements and work experience for students wishing to pursue careers in construction. We will work closely with local schools to increase awareness of the variety of jobs available within the industry and highlight career progression routes. We believe new sector entrants add real value to the industry and we strive to nurture and develop these individuals to become potential future business leaders.

The role of the senior management team is vital in communicating the drive for diversity throughout the Group. Our aim is also to ensure that employees take ownership of complying with our equality and diversity policies and guidance. We recognise that different individuals will face varying challenges and encourage feedback from all personnel to enable us to deal with these effectively.
